ABOUT NITPY

National Institute of Technology Puducherry (NITPY), nestled in the scenes of Karaikal, a coastal enclave in the basin of river Kaveri is one among the ten new NITs in the Union Territory of Puducherry. Notwithstanding the tender age, NIT-PY is committed to produce effective and responsible technocrats who have the ability to serve the nation on its journey to growth and prosperity. ABOUT SAE INDIA

SAEINDIA is one of the few professional engineering societies whose membership represents practically every engineering and scientific discipline. Its members combine their specialized abilities to further advance the research, development, design, manufacture, and utilization of vehicles operating on land, water, air & space. It is an affiliate society of SAE International, registered as an Indian non-profit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility community in India. As an individual member-driven society of mobility practitioners, SAEINDIA comprises members who are Individuals from the mobility community, which includes Engineers, Executives from Industry, Government Officials, Academics, and Students. ABOUT MED

Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in July 2014 with an undergraduate (B.Tech) Program. At present, the department also offers Ph. D programme. Dedicated faculty members with expertise in diverse domains of mechanical engineering such as Computer Aided Design, Ergonomics, Industrial Safety, Power Plant Structural Analysis, Welding, Manufacturing, Natural Fibre Composites, Energy Engineering, Renewable Energy, Internal Combustion Engines, Thermal Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Automobile engineering which contributes to the department knowledge hub. Likewise, the non-teaching staff are sound in technical skills and help to strengthen the student’s theoretical understanding through lab practices. ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The main scope of this conference is to share the students’ knowledge through interaction and presentations. With the help of the project demo, the student can improve their technical skills. Also, the internship presentation will give an idea about the industries’ working culture to enhance practical skills. Participating in the various solo events can showcase the student’s expertise in design software in the technical fields. In this context, the main theme of this conference centers around the mechanical and electrical fields, along with the automotive field.

AREAS COVERED

Domains of Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Material Science, Electrical and Electronics. The domains supporting the above fields include mechatronics, microprocessors, electric vehicle technology, batteries, computer science, and information technology — also, the work in the background specializing in artificial intelligence, algorithms, machine learning, etc.

ELIGIBILITY
