Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming higher education by redefining how educators teach, conduct research, assess students, and develop academic content. This one-day FDP is designed to equip faculty members, researchers, doctoral scholars, and academic administrators with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in integrating AI responsibly into teaching, research, assessment, and academic workflows. The programme covers Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI-assisted research methodologies, AI-powered assessment, prompt engineering, and responsible AI practices.

  • Prompt Engineering for Research and Teaching
  • AI-Based Assessment: Question paper generation, AI evaluation, feedback, rubrics and Bloom’s Taxonomy
  • AI for Research: Literature search, research-gap identification, theme extraction, topic modelling, citation mapping and PRISMA
  • AI Ethics, Governance and Academic Integrity: Data privacy, hallucinations, copyright, AI detection, academic misconduct and journal guidelines
