• For Associate Professor, a recognized basic veterinary qualification registered with a State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India, a good academic record with a Ph.D. in the concerned discipline, a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, a minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor, at least 7 publications in peer-reviewed, NAAS-rated, or UGC-listed journals, and a total research score of 75

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of teaching or research experience is required for Professor, of which successful doctoral guidance must be demonstrated, and a minimum of 8 years is required for Associate Professor, including relevant research and publication record

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for the posts of Professor and Associate Professor

Salary Details: Professor carries Academic Level 14 with a rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200 per month, and Associate Professor carries Academic Level 13A with a rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400 per month
