Essential Qualifications:

For Professor (Civil Engineering): Ph.D. degree in the relevant field along with First Class or equivalent grade at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. Minimum 10 years of teaching, research, or industry experience, out of which at least 3 years must be at the level of Associate Professor. Additionally, at least 6 research publications in indexed journals at the Associate Professor level, along with at least 2 successful Ph.D. guidance as Supervisor or Co-supervisor. Alternatively, at least 10 research publications in indexed journals at the Associate Professor level till the date of eligibility.

For Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering): Ph.D. degree in the relevant field with First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level. At least 6 research publications in indexed journals. Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 2 years of post-Ph.D. experience.

For Assistant Professor – Engineering Disciplines (Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication): B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in at least one of the degrees.

For Assistant Professor – Business: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration, PGDM, C.A., ICWA, or M.Com. with First Class or equivalent, plus two years of professional experience after the Master’s degree. Candidates with specialization in Finance, Marketing, or Business Analytics will be preferred.

For Assistant Professor – Architecture: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and three years of relevant professional experience. OR B.Arch. and Master’s Degree in Architecture or allied subjects with minimum 60% marks at either level, plus one year of professional experience. A valid CoA Registration Number is mandatory.

For Assistant Professor – Science and Humanities (Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Dogri, Philosophy, Physics):

Option A: Master’s Degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Candidates must have cleared UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET, or SET. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.

Option B: Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking by QS, Times Higher Education (THE), or ARWU of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Desirable: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline for Assistant Professor positions in engineering disciplines.
