Organization Profile: IIIDEM is the dedicated training, academic & resource arm of the Election Commission of India. It was established in 2011. The institute was conceived to train, prepare and equip election officials and other stakeholders for delivery of free, fair, credible, and error-free elections cutting across boundaries and ethnicities. IIIDEM is one of the few institutions in the world which is not only involved in the Training & Capacity Building of its Electoral officials, but also catering to the requirements of Election Management Bodies (EMBs) world over.

Qualification:

• Professor-cum-Dean School of Election Management: Must hold a regular post in the grade of Professor, as per UGC norms, in a Central/ State Government-funded University or an Institution of National Importance (declared by an Act of Parliament), with teaching in the subjects/ disciplines of Political Science, Public Administration or other disciplines related to Democracy and Election management.
• Assistant Professor (Faculty) – Election Management: Must hold a regular post in the grade of Assistant Professor as per UGC norms in a Central/ State Government-funded University or an Institution of National Importance, with teaching in the subjects/ disciplines of Political Science, Public Administration, or other disciplines related to Democracy and Election Management.
• Assistant Professor (Faculty) – General Management: Must hold a regular post in the grade of Assistant Professor as per UGC norms in a Central/State Government-funded University or an Institution of National Importance, with teaching in the subjects/ disciplines of Public Administration, management, leadership, media, Mass Communication and Journalism, Development Studies or other disciplines related to democracy and election management.
• Professor-cum-Dean, School of Electoral Law: Must hold a regular post in the grade of Professor as per UGC norms in a Central/State Government-funded University or an Institution of National Importance (declared by an Act of Parliament), with teaching in the subject/ discipline of Law or related discipline.
• Faculty (Assistant Professor) – Electoral Law: Must hold a regular post in the grade of Assistant Professor as per UGC norms in a Central/State Government-funded University or an Institution of National Importance, with teaching in the subject/discipline of Law, or related discipline.
• Associate Professor-cum-Head, Centre for Research & Innovation: Officers must hold a regular post in the grade of Associate Professor as per UGC norms in a Central/State Government funded University or an Institution of National Importance, with teaching in the subjects/disciplines of Political Science, Public Administration, Development studies or disciplines related to Democracy and Election Management.
• Assistant Professor-cum-Head, School of Technology in Election: Must hold a regular post in the grade of Assistant Professor as per UGC norms in a Central/ State Government-funded University or an Institution of National Importance, with teaching in the subject/ discipline of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Assistant Professor-cum-Head, Centre for Curriculum Development: Must hold a regular post in the grade of Assistant Professor as per UGC norms in a Central/State Government-funded University or an Institution of National Importance, with teaching in the subjects/ disciplines of Education, Political Science, Public Administration or related disciplines.
