Organization Profile: Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City Chittoor (IIITS) was established by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament in PPP model along with Government of Andhra Pradesh and Industry Partners – Sri City Foundation. The institute presently offers BTech programmes in two disciplines – Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics with specializations in AI & Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Data Science and in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with specializations in Cyber-Physical Systems and NextGen Wireless Communication. IIITS has a focus on UG research, sponsored projects and scholarly research. The institute also offers a unique Part-Time Ph.D. programme for IT industry personnel and Scientists who work in Government of India Research labs such as DRDO, ISRO, etc.
