Organization Profile: Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City Chittoor (IIITS) was established by the Government of India as an Institute of National Importance under the Act of Parliament in PPP model along with Government of Andhra Pradesh and Industry Partners – Sri City Foundation. The institute presently offers BTech programmes in two disciplines – Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics with specializations in AI & Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Data Science and in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) with specializations in Cyber-Physical Systems and NextGen Wireless Communication. IIITS has a focus on UG research, sponsored projects and scholarly research. The institute also offers a unique Part-Time Ph.D. programme for IT industry personnel and Scientists who work in Government of India Research labs such as DRDO, ISRO, etc.

Essential Requirements:
- Professor (Equivalent to Level 14A)– Ten years of post-PhD experience with a minimum 4 years experience as an Associate Professor or equivalent, from reputed academic institutes /Research and Development Labs or relevant industry
- Associate Professor (Equivalent to Level 13A2)– Six years of post-PhD experience with 3 years of experience as Assistant Professor – Grade 1 or equivalent, from reputed academic institutes /Research and Development Labs or relevant industry
- Assistant Professor Grade-I (Equivalent to Level 12)– Three years of post-PhD experience in Level 11/10 from reputed academic institutes /Research and Development Labs or relevant industry
- Assistant Professor Grade-II (Equivalent to Level 11)– One year post Ph.D. experience in Level 10 from reputed academic Institute / Research and Development Labs or relevant industry
Pay Scale: As per 7th CPC
- Professor (Equivalent to Level 14A)
- Associate Professor (Equivalent to Level 13A2)
- Assistant Professor Grade-I (Equivalent to Level 12)
- Assistant Professor Grade-II (Equivalent to Level 11)

Important Information: In addition to pay & allowances equivalent to 7th CPC, faculty members are eligible for additional allowances as approved by the Board of Governors such as seed grant, professional development allowance and annual performance-based financial incentives for performance above benchmark level in teaching, research and administration, etc. The institute also offers higher HRA, LTA, medical insurance, etc.
