Department:

  • Department of Water Resources Development & Management for the Integrated Centre for Adaptation to Climate Change, Disaster Resilience and Sustainability (ICARS)

Qualifications: Ph.D. in a related area with Master’s degree in Ecology & Environment / Water Resources related discipline with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in a related area, with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs,
IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any other Indian or foreign institution of comparable standard. Additional degree in Law or Policy related discipline may be preferred.

Desirable experience: Good combination of Post-graduate level teaching experience, with
industrial and government working experience, Supervised PhDs, Developed human resource capacity plan, Strategic & national sectoral plans, Steered as PI/Co-PI/Coordinator externally funded major S&T projects/ Internationally funded projects in climate change and resilience related areas.

Pay Structure:

  • Professor: Academic Pay Level-14A (Rs.1,59,100 – 2,20,200)
