Job Title: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor & Professor
(a) For Electronics and Communication Engineering Program:
Teaching & Research experience in the following areas – Signal Processing / VLSI / Embedded Systems / Internet of Things / Nano Materials / Sensors / Quantum Computing / Data Structures and Algorithms / Computer Vision / AI, ML, DL / Image Processing / Cyber-Physical Systems / Wireless Sensor Networks / Next Generation Wireless Technologies / Intelligent Systems.
Skills Required – MATLAB, Keil, Cadence tool, Xilinx Vivado, Microwave Studio, Python, Embedded C.
The candidate should have adequate experience in research in their area of specialization, publications in top-tier journals, sponsored research, patent publication, and industry consultancy.
Salary – As per 7th Pay Commission recommendation.
Qualification:
Ph.D. (ECE) from a reputed college/ institute with good research/ academic/ administrative experience will be considered. Minimum experience of 15 years will be given preference. Retired faculty from IIT/ NIT/ reputed state Universities may apply for Adjunct Faculty/Visiting Faculty positions.
Essential attributes/ requirements of a candidate
- Palpable passion for research/ project execution/ develop products for commercial/ social application and some experience in Teaching.
- Keen on time bound Consultancy Assignments and funded projects.
- Authored papers Scopus/ ABDC indexed publications. Keen on publishing books/ book chapters.
- Research to resolve societal/ national/ environmental issues.
- Excellent communication skills with deep and wide knowledge.
- Interested in inter-disciplinary, collaborative research.
- People skills – and ability to establish rapport with students.
- Willingness to relocate to Chennai or somewhere close to place of work.
- Pride in India’s ancient culture and heritage.
