College Profile: East Point College of Nursing (EPCN) was established in the year 2004 by M. G. Charitable Trust, Bangalore. The College is located in the eastern part of Bangalore at Bidarahalli, Virgonagar Post, off Old Madras Road. It is at a 5 km distance from K R Puram, Bangalore.
Salient features of EPCN:
- We offer Basic B.Sc. Nursing course which is of 4 years and 3 years of GNM course, from the current academic year M. Sc Nursing is intended to start. All these are enriched with practical exposure to prepare Nurse Graduates and Diploma Nurses to assume responsibilities as professional, competent Nurses and Midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative.
- Student Nurses are also exposed in clinicals, community, laboratories which also includes skill lab exposure. The students are also been provided opportunity to learn the subjects Computer science, English, Kannada and Constitution. Our student nurses are trained for their clinical exposure at 820 bedded parent Hospital.
- Nursing Graduates and Diploma students have been recruited in all kinds of Health care agencies both Nationally and Internationally. The Nursing students of EPCN and EPSN have good reflection in giving excellent results in academics and also the students have been actively participating in co-curricular activities.

Qualification:
Professor – Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Nursing)
Experience: M.Sc. (Nursing) Total 12 years‘ experience with M.Sc. (Nursing) out of which 10 years teaching experience after M.Sc. (Nursing), Ph. D Nursing is desirable.
Associate Professor – Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Nursing)
Experience: Total 8 years‘ experience with M.Sc. (Nursing) including 5 years teaching experience
Assistant Professor – Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Nursing)
Experience: M.Sc. (Nursing) with total 3 years teaching experience
Lecturer – M.Sc. (Nursing) preferable
Experience: B.Sc. (Nursing)/P.B.B.Sc. (Nursing) with 1 year experience.
Specialization – Applicants with respective specialties and required no of years of service as per the norms of INC / KNC / RGUHS can apply for the respective posts.
