Job Position: Dean Academics
Educational Qualification
- A Ph.D. degree in any discipline (including engineering) from a reputed Institutions/ Universities
- A good academic track record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Master’s degree
Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of teaching/research experience in higher education, of which 5 years should be in a senior academic/administrative role such as HoD, Coordinator (Curriculum Development), Principal (FAC), Controller of Examinations, or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, academic planning, examination reforms, and accreditation processes (NAAC/ NBA/ UGC/ AICTE)
- Proven track record in publications, funded research projects/ academic leadership
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of autonomous college regulations, NEP 2020 framework, NHEQF, NCrF, LOCF and outcome-based education (OBE)
- Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
- Ability to mentor faculty, foster innovation in teaching-learning, and enhance academic quality
- Familiarity with digital education tools, academic analytics, and industry-academia collaborations
- Commitment to academic excellence, student development, and institutional growth
