CVRDE has the Core Competency in the technologies relevant to AFVs – viz., Turret & Weapon System, Chasis & Automotive System, Powerpack Technologies (Engine & Transmission), Running Gear Technologies, Vehicle Electricals, Electronics and Communication, etc. Also, CVRDE undertakes collaborative research with IITs, IISc Bangalore and other leading academic institutions.

- Rs.37,000/- per month (Consolidated stipend/ Consolidated Fellowship Emolument)
