Assistant Professor: The applicant should have a good academic record, relevant experience  and an impressive record of research and publications. Required qualifications include  ME/M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Science/ Information  Technology/AI&ML/AI&DS/Cyber security) in the relevant subject with First class or  equivalent.

Associate Professor: Qualifications are the same as that for Assistant Professor. In addition,  the applicant must have a Doctoral Degree from a reputed University with teaching /  research / industry experience of 5 years or more. 

Professor: Qualification is the same as that for Associate Professor. In addition, a minimum  of 10 years teaching / research / industry experience is required or with at least 5 years  should be at the level of Associate Professor OR a minimum of 13 years’ experience in  teaching /research /industry. 

Department: Training & Placement  

Job Title/ Designation: Placement Officer 

The applicant should have relevant experience on organising placement drives with a good  number of companies. Candidates with relevant qualifications.

Job Summary 

Project entitled “Artificial Intelligence Driven Predictive Modelling of Cognitive and  Behavioral Pattern among Rural Learners Engaged in Digital Learning – ICSSR-LSS-2025- 2130”. Sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of  Education, New Delhi. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Research Associates: Postgraduate in any Social science discipline (Minimum 55% marks) with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D. and 2 years of research experience as Research Assistant in any Government Funded project.
  Pay: Rs.47,000/-per month 
• Research Assistants: Postgraduate in any Social science discipline (Minimum 55% marks) with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D.
  Pay: Rs. 37,000/- per month

• Field Investigators: Postgraduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55%  marks.
  Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION / NOTES 

• Kannada, Hindi, Telugu & Tamil language proficiency is preferred for Field Investigator. 
• Travel allowances shall be reimbursed as per Project norms to field investigators and  interns. 
• Proficiency in research tools and techniques, including statistical & data analytical tools. • Demonstrated research aptitude, including experience in field surveys, data analysis,  and research report preparation will be an added advantage.

Department of Maker Space 

Job Title/ Designation: Technician 

Job Summary 

The Makerspace Technician is responsible for providing technical, operational, and  instructional support within the Makerspace. The role involves assisting students, faculty  members, and start-up teams in the design, development, and execution of projects,  particularly those involving embedded systems and programming. The technician will also  oversee day-to-day Makerspace operations, manage inventory, and support training  programs, workshops, and events. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide technical support to students, faculty, and campus start-ups.
• Assist with projects involving embedded systems and Python / C programming
•  Oversee day-to-day Makerspace operations and ensure equipment safety
• Manage Makerspace inventory and resources
• Support training programs, workshops, hackathons, and academic events Required Skills
• Good communication skills 
• Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP,  Raspberry Pi, or similar)  
• Proficiency in Python and C programming
• Basic understanding of electronics and prototyping tools 

Qualifications 

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or  related field 
• Experience in academic labs, Makerspace, or innovation center. 

Department of Library  

Qualification: Degree in Library & Information Science with working knowledge of  Computer Science / IT  

The candidate should be willing to work in shift-wise library operations as per institutional  requirements.  

Job Vacancy: Assistant Librarian (Digital Library & E-Resources) 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintenance and regular updating of the Library Website/Webpage 
• Management of DSpace Institutional Repository (uploading, organizing, metadata  entry, and access control) 
• Handling and maintenance of e-books and e-journals 
• Providing user support for accessing digital resources (students and faculty)
• Usage statistics, reports, and documentation related to digital resources
• Supporting digitization activities and other library automation tasks

Preferred Skills:
