Organization Profile: Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) (formerly known as Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET)) was established in 1968 by the Government of India with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai. The main objective of setting up of this specialized institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country.

Employment Type: Contract
Essential Qualification:
- Full time 1st Class B.E/B.Tech and M.E. / M.Tech. in relevant discipline from a recognized University, and At least 2 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline
- Full time Master’s Degree with good academic record with First Class or an equivalent GPA in the relevant discipline from Indian Universities.
- Full time First Class Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Remuneration range :
- Assistant Professor: Rs.35,000 /- to Rs.40,000 /- pm
- Placement consultant: Rs. 40,000/- per month (Consolidated)
