Job Title: Computer Laboratory Assistant
Qualifications: Graduate (B.Sc./B.E./B. Tech. in CS/IT/Computer Applications/B.C.A.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting – Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for users
- Installation and Configuration -Setting up new computers, software, and peripherals, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with security policies
- System Maintenance – Performing routine maintenance tasks like updates, patches, and backups to ensure systems are running smoothly and securely
- User Support – Providing technical support to users, either in person, over the phone, or through online channels
- Hardware and Software Management – Managing inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software, and ensuring proper documentation
- Security – Implementing and maintaining security protocols, such as firewalls and antivirus software, to protect company data and systems
- Training: Providing training to users on new software or hardware
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for IT systems and procedures
- Scope – Complete IT infrastructure, Computer and Accessories, ICT equipments, Projectors, Screens, CCTV Cameras, Online Meetings, etc.
Key Skill:
- Technical Skills -Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and networking concepts
- Problem-Solving Skills -Ability to analyse issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
