Title of the Project : Design, Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Novel Histone Deacetylase-Proteolysis Targeting Chimeras (HDAC- PROTACs) as Therapeutic Agents for Lung and Kidney Cancer
Departments having vacancy:
- Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Natural Products
Qualification:
- B. Pharmacy degree and Master’s degree [M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharm.)] in Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks [55% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD] from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/Institutes, with having qualified GPAT or any other equivalent national-level entrance examination
- Expertise in medicinal chemistry, multistep organic synthesis and purification, small molecules and their PROTAC design, HDAC-targeting, spectroscopic characterization, In-silico techniques, SAR studies, and understanding of biological evaluation of anticancer compounds
Duration of the Project : 3years
Job Location: Bathinda, Punjab
Pay Scale:
- ₹ 56000+ HRA (10%) per month for a period of two years and 5% increment in the third year as per ICMR norms.
