Qualifications:
Professor:
- An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject and actively engaged in research.
- A minimum of 10 research publications in the Peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total Research Score of 120 as per the criteria given in Appendix II Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018.
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, or equivalent research experience at an equivalent level.
- OR: An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in the concerned subject from any academic institution/industry who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Associate Professor:
- A good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject.
- A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade point scale) in the concerned subject.
- A minimum of Eight years of Experience in teaching or research in academic/research post equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research.
- A minimum of Seven Publications in the Peered-Reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total Research Score of 75 as per the criteria given in Appendix II Table 2 of UGC Regulations, 2018.
Assistant Professor:
- Academic Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade point scale) in the concerned subject from an Indian University or an accredited foreign University. Relaxation of 5% (from 55% to 50%) is applicable to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy Layer).
- Eligibility Test: The candidate must have cleared NET/CSIR-NET conducted by UGC-CSIR or SET-NE in the concerned subject.
- Exemption from NET/SLET/SET: Candidates awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (and amendments) are exempted.

- Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 (Basic Pay)
- Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 (Basic Pay)
- Professor: ₹1,44,200 (Basic Pay)
