Organization Profile: Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh is an autonomous institute set by Government of India, MHRD (Presently Ministry of Education, Govt. of India) in 1997. It is an effort by MHRD (Presently Ministry of Education, Govt. of India) towards creating professionals in areas of management and information technology from the same institute. This institute was created for facilitating higher education, research, and consultancy in areas of information technology (IT) and business management. Initially started as IIITM, this institute was prefixed with ABV in 2002 to honour the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Project Title : DST-NSF Turning “Tragedy of the Commons ToC” into “Emergent Cooperative Behavior ECB” for Automated Vehicles at Intersections with Meta-Learning
About the Project : The objectives of this proposal include (1) understanding the fundamental automated vehicle (AV) ToC and humandriven vehicle (HV) ECB phenomena at both structured US intersections and unstructured Indian Intersections with drastically different settings, and (2) devising proper AV control to turn the AV ToC behavior into an ECB to support more efficient traffic operations. A meta-learning-based AV control framework in a realistic decentralized setting will be created to optimize mixed traffic intersection performance not only for local individual vehicles but also for overall traffic performance, which will be verified with both computer models and physics tests.
Essential Qualifications:
- Essential Qualifications for JRF- Candidates must have M.Tech/ M.S./M.E. or equivalent in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) / IT (Information Technology) / EC (Electronics and Communication)/ EE (Electrical Engineering) / ME (Mechanical Engineering) degrees or equivalent. They must also have B. Tech/ B.E./M.Sc. in CSE/IT/EC/EE/ME or equivalent. Candidates must also have qualified GATE/CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) in the relevant area for the JRF position.
- Essential Qualifications for Project Associate – 1- BTech/BE/equivalent in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) / IT (Information Technology) / EC (Electronics and Communication)/ EE (Electrical Engineering)/ ME (Mechanical Engineering) degrees or equivalent. Applicants are preferably expected to have a GATE/CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) in the relevant area. In the absence of GATE/NET, the monthly emoluments will be in accordance with DST norms.
