Job Title: ECE & CSE Faculty – Polytechnic College

Job Summary
The Faculty member will be responsible for delivering effective classroom instruction and practical training to diploma students in ECE/CSE disciplines. The role includes teaching theory and laboratory subjects, guiding student projects, evaluating academic performance, and contributing to departmental and institutional academic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach diploma-level theory and practical subjects as per the prescribed curriculum
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and laboratory manuals
- Conduct and supervise laboratory sessions and ensure proper maintenance of equipment/systems
- Evaluate student performance through internal assessments, practical exams, and projects
- Guide students in mini-projects, final projects, and technical activities
- Maintain student attendance, academic records, and assessment documentation
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic planning, and accreditation activities
- Mentor students and support placement, internship, and skill-development initiatives
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science Engineering / Information Technology
- Preferred Qualification: M.E. / M.Tech in the relevant discipline
- Experience:
- Teaching experience in polytechnic/engineering institutions preferred
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good communication skills may also be considered
Key Skills
- Strong technical knowledge in the respective discipline (ECE/CSE)
- Effective teaching, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to handle laboratory sessions and practical demonstrations
- Student mentoring and academic guidance abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications and digital teaching tools
- Good classroom management and documentation skills
