Role: Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor @ Department of Computer Science Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus

Job Description:

• Teaching and mentoring students in undergraduate and graduate programs
• Mentoring the students for competitions, projects and other technical activities
• Collaborating with academia and industry on research projects
• Conducting research in the field of Core Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence/ or related Multidisciplinary domain
• Publishing research findings in Journals of high repute and conferences
• Engage in departmental, institute and university activities
• Taking initiatives to contribute to the academic and research communities

Skills Required

• Compiler  Design, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Theory of Computation, Cryptography, Natural Language Processing, Formal language and Automata, Android Application Development, Secure Coding, Cyber Forensics and Malware, Blockchain and its applications, Automata Theory and Compiler Design , Advanced Protocol Engineering and Security Lab , Modelling, Simulation & Analysis, Software-Defined Communication Systems, Quantum Computing & Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, Digital Electronics, Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Digital Communication, Computer Organization and Architecture, Communication & IoT, Multimedia Processing.

Salary: As per 7^th Pay Commission recommendations.

Qualification: Ph.D. (CSE/IT), B Tech, M Tech, from a reputed college/institute with strong research/ teaching experience will be considered. Retired faculty from IITs, NITs, or reputed universities may apply for Adjunct Faculty/Visiting Faculty positions.

1. Demonstrated passion for research, project execution, and product development with a focus on commercial or social applications, along with some teaching experience.
2. Strong inclination towards time-bound consultancy assignments and securing funded projects.
3. Proven record of publications in SCI/Scopus-indexed journals, with an interest in authoring books or contributing to book chapters.
4. Research focus on addressing societal, national, and environmental challenges.
5. Excellent communication skills, combined with extensive knowledge across domains.
6. Interest in interdisciplinary and collaborative research initiatives.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and establish rapport with students.
8. Willingness to relocate to Chennai or nearby locations for work.
9. A sense of pride in India’s rich culture and ancient heritage.
