ELIGIBILITY
Librarian – AJK College of Nursing
- Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS / equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional qualification in Library and Information Science.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a college, university, nursing, medical or academic library is desirable.
- Knowledge of library automation, digital library services and electronic information resources.
- Experience in managing academic library operations will be preferred.
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Assistant Librarian – AJK College of Arts and Science
- Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS / equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience in a college, university or academic library is desirable.
- Knowledge of cataloguing, classification, circulation and library automation.
- Familiarity with digital library resources, e-books, e-journals and online databases will be an advantage.
- Good computer, communication and organizational skills.
Note: Qualifications and experience will be considered as per applicable UGC, regulatory and institutional norms.
