Organization Profile: NIT Jamshedpur, an institute of national importance under the Ministry of Education, the Government of India, invites applications from Indian nationals possessing excellent academic backgrounds along with a commitment to quality teaching and research for Adhoc Faculty Positions with the following requirements in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences & Management possessing requisite educational qualification and other details as below:
Job Title/Designation: Adhoc Faculty
Departments have vacancies:
- Department of Humanities, Social Sciences & Management
No. of Positions: 2 (two)
Qualification:
a. MBA/M.Com. with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA and UGC NET qualified
OR
b. MBA/M.Com. & Ph.D. with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA from an Indian University or institute degree from an accredited foreign university with previous teaching experience at a similar level to be given preference.
Candidates with Ph.D. or without Ph.D. (with UGC-NET) are encouraged to attend the walk-in interview.
Specialisation Required: General Management, Financial Management, Intellectual Property Rights, Entrepreneurship
Job Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand
Remuneration: Consolidated pay of Rs. 70000/- per month (candidates with Ph. D. degree) and Rs.50000/- per month (candidates without Ph.D. degree). However, candidates without a Ph.D. degree must have UGC NET (Commerce/Management).
Period of Engagement: Initially for one semester from August 2023 that may be extended further based on performance and requirements of the department.
