Organization Profile: The Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (APAU) was established on 12th June 1964 at Hyderabad. The University was formally inaugurated on 20th March 1965 by Late Shri. Lal Bahadur Shastri, the then Hon`ble Prime Minister of India. Another significant milestone was the inauguration of the building programme of the university by Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Hon`ble Prime Minister of India on 23rd June 1966. The University was renamed as Acharya N. G. Ranga Agricultural University on 7th November 1996 in honour and memory of an outstanding parliamentarian Acharya Nayakulu Gogineni Ranga, who rendered remarkable selfless service for the cause of farmers and is regarded as an outstanding educationist, kisan leader, and freedom fighter.

Employment Type: Full Time Contract Basis

Essential Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject (or)
• Master’s Degree in the relevant Subject
• Bachelor’s Degree of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average
• Experience for at least 3 years of respective teaching / research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.
• Published One research paper in science Citation index (SCI)/ NAAS rated ≥ 4.0 journals.
• Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have the NET qualification.

Job Location: Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh

Salary: 

• Teaching Associate
  • Rs.61,000/- + Applicable HRA for Master’s Degree holders.
  • Rs.67,000/- + Applicable HRA for Ph.D. Degree holders.
