Required Educational Qualifications for Guest Faculty (Food Technology): Candidates should have
- M.E./M.Tech./M.S./Integrated M.Tech./M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc./M.Voc in Food Technology, Food Processing, Food Engineering, Dairy Technology, Chemical Engineering, Post-harvest Engineering or Food Science & Nutrition, or a Master’s degree in relevant disciplines
- At least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from an Indian or recognized foreign university, in full-time regular mode
- Ph.D. in any one of the above disciplines, or NET qualification in the relevant subject
- A 5% relaxation in marks (from 55% to 50%) at the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s level for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently-abled candidates
- UGC/AICTE/NCTE regulations will apply for the minimum educational qualification
Pay Scale/Pay Level:
₹1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹40,000 per month. Guest Faculty who are already employed in a government institution will be paid ₹800 per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹40,000 per month. No other allowances are admissible.
