DSM stands for Delhi School of Management and USME for University School of Management & Entrepreneurship (East Delhi Campus).
# Regularisation of incumbents against these posts will happen only after creation, approval and sanction of the posts, as they are currently borrowed from the sanctioned posts of other disciplines.

Total Vacancies: 219 (vacancies are provisional and can be varied as per the university’s requirement)

Category-wise Vacancy Break-up:

Out of these, 17 posts are identified for PwBD candidates as horizontal reservation. Discipline-wise PwBD details and the suitability of disability types are given in Annexure-I of the official notification.

Required Educational Qualifications for Assistant Professor: Candidates should have

• Essential qualifications, relevant branches and experience as prescribed in the university’s Recruitment Rules for the respective discipline (links are given in Annexure-II of the notification)
• For Applied Mathematics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics (non-Engineering candidates), Humanities (Economics and English), Economics (USME), Geospatial Science and Biotechnology (non-Engineering candidates), 55% marks (or equivalent grade) at the Master’s level
• A 5% relaxation at Bachelor’s and Master’s level for SC/ST/OBC (NCL-Delhi) and PwBD candidates in the disciplines listed above, as per the UGC Gazette Notification dated 18 July 2018
• A 5% relaxation (55% to 50%) for Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s degree before 19 September 1991
• A minimum of 60% aggregate marks, treated as equivalent to first class where no class or division is awarded
• AMIE/IETE qualifications in the relevant branches, which are also eligible
• An AIU equivalence or recognition certificate for degrees from foreign universities, wherever applicable

Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professor posts. The age of superannuation follows the prevailing university norms.

Required Experience: As per the Recruitment Rules of the respective discipline. Teaching, industrial and research experience is also awarded points in the application scoring.

• Publication of a provisional list of candidates in the consideration zone, who then submit a printed application with self-attested documents
• Provisional shortlisting based on score merit, up to (4+8X) candidates, where X is the number of posts in that discipline and category

• Presentation to assess teaching aptitude and ability
