Qualification: 

1. Young Professional-II (YP-II), 02 posts

• Essential: M.F.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline (Aquatic Animal Health Management/ Aquaculture/ Aquatic Environment Management/ Fish Biotechnology/ Fishery Microbiology, etc.) OR Post-graduate/M.Sc. in a relevant discipline (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Animal Biotechnology/ Veterinary Microbiology/Agricultural Microbiology/Food Microbiology, etc.)
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years as on date of interview (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per govt. rules: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates)

2. Junior Research Assistant (JRA), 01 post (Urd bean project)

• Essential: First Division in B.Sc. Agriculture and First Division in M.Sc. Plant/Crop Physiology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Biotechnology. The applicant should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh only.
• Desirable: Higher qualification in the Plant/Crop Physiology, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Biotechnology.
• Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years on 1st April 2026.

3. Young Professional-I (YP-I), 01 post

• Essential: Master’s degree in Agrometeorology/Agronomy/Environmental Science
• Age Limit: Not below 21 years and above 45 years (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates)

4. Junior Research Assistant (JRA), 01 post (Groundwater recharge project)

• Essential:
  1. M.Sc./ M.Tech. in any branch of Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Biological/ Physical/ Natural/ Environmental Science with Specialization /dissertation in GIS and Remote sensing application and landscape resource assessment
  2. High Academic attainments in UG & PG with 1st class in graduate and post graduate examination.
  3. Candidate should be a resident of UP State.
• Age Limit: The upper age limit shall be 28 years as on 1st April, 2026.

Pay Scale:

• YP-II: Rs. 42,000/- per month (consolidated)
• JRA (Urd bean project): Rs. 25,000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 28,000/- per month for the third year (consolidated)
• YP-I: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)
• JRA (Groundwater recharge project): Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)

How to Apply:

• Eligible candidates should appear for the walk-in interview on the date, time and venue mentioned for their respective post (31st October 2026 for YP-II; 2nd November 2026 for JRA (Urd bean) and YP-I; 3rd November 2026 for JRA (Groundwater recharge)).
• Candidates should ensure their eligibility (age, qualification, etc.) before appearing. Only candidates having the essential qualifications will be considered for interview.
• Bring an application in the prescribed format with full bio-data, enclosing photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from matriculation onwards, duly attested, with a passport size photograph affixed on top. The application form is given with the advertisement.
• Bring original certificates/mark sheets for verification.
• The selected candidate must produce a medical certificate at the time of joining.
• No TA/DA and no official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
• The appointment is purely ad-hoc for one year or until the project ends, whichever is earlier, with possible extension based on performance. There is no right to regularization or absorption in RLBCAU.
• The decision of the competent authority is final and binding. The university may terminate the contract before project completion, with no appeal.
