Required Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Other Criteria: As per the provisions of Schedule “E” of the Statutes of NITs as adopted by IIIT Bhagalpur and any amendments, read with:

• The Recruitment Rules of IIIT Bhagalpur
• The CEI (Reservation in Teachers’ Cadre) Act, 2019
• Clarifications received from MHRD (now MoE) vide F. No. 33-9/2011-TS.III dated 16th April, 2019
• Amendments in the Recruitment Rules, and clarification on applicability of Clause (5) of Note 1 referred in Schedule ‘E’ of the Statutes of NITs and IIEST, Shibpur, vide F. No. 20-2/2022-TS.III dated 27.04.2022

Age Limit: Not applicable; this is an internal upgradation process for existing contract faculty.

Required Experience: All qualifications, experience, and other criteria will be considered as on the last date for submission of the online application. Credit points earned between the last date of submission and the date of joining, which were not considered during selection, shall be carried forward. Contribution to Institute Administration will be considered for credit points only if recommended by the concerned Head and approved by the Director.

Pay Scale/Pay Level:
Upgradation from Pay Level-10 to Pay Level-11 (On Contract), as per the applicable NITs Statutes and IIIT Bhagalpur Recruitment Rules.
