Organization Profile: The Central University of Jammu came into existence on August 08, 2011, with the appointment of the first Vice-Chancellor. It was established by the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Act No.25 of 2009 read with the Central Universities Act, 2009). The first academic session (2011-2012) commenced with three Post Graduate courses in English, Economics and Applied Mathematics at Temporary Academic Block-I (TAB-I) at Sidhra bypass road, Jammu. In the next academic session (2012-2013),five PG Courses were added: Computer Science, Educational Studies, Environmental Sciences, Human Resource Management and Travel & Tourism Management in Temporary Academic Block (TAB-II) at Sainik Colony Extension.
Job Title: Recruitment of JRF convertible to PhD
Essential Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech. and M.Tech/M.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering with valid GATE/NET/NET-JRF.
Nature of post: The candidates will be selected only on the basis that he/she has to pursue PhD under the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences. The candidates will be registered for PhD under Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering mentored by Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Sciences, Central University of Jammu.
Job Location: Samba, Jammu
Pay Scale: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA as per CU Jammu norms (first two years). If the project continues, Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA as per CU Jammu norms (third year).
Note: In case the project discontinues, Rs. 25,000/- per month will be provided from The University fund (IRG).
