Organization Profile: The Radhakrishnan University Education Commission of 1949 emphasised the need for establishing Agricultural Universities in India., Subsequently, the indo-American team consistitued under the Chairmanship of Dr. K.R. Damle (1955), the then Vice-president of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, suggested a system of education for Indian as followed in the Land Grant Colleges of USA. The Planning Commission Committee felt the inadequacy of trained personnel for substantial output in agricultural operations with the then set up of research, education and extension in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and allied fields. In course of time, these recommendations led to the creation of the agricultural universities to accomplish the integration of teaching, research and extension.

- Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and allied sciences with at least 55% marks/ equivalent OGPA.
- Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks/ equivalent OGPA.
- NET/ M-Phil / Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject
- Research publication in peer reviewed journals will be given due weightage.

How to Apply:
- Guest faculties will be engaged in different subjects in the Centre for Post Graduate Studies, OUAT, Bhubaneswar. through walk-in interview to be conducted in the Department of Agribusiness Management, CPGS on 30.09.2026 at 10.30 AM as mentioned in the advertisement.
- The candidate must bring all the documents in original (Certificates, Mark sheets from HSCE onwards experience certificate etc.), two sets of self-attested photocopy of each document and two recent passport size photograph along with Biodata
- Interested candidates will have to appear for a walk in interview on 30th September, 2026 at 10.30 AM for the respective subjects as mentioned in the advertisement in the website of OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
- No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing the interview. The candidates desirous of attending the walk in interview must report at the venue latest by 11.00 AM in on the date of interview.
- The candidates will have to submit a Demand Draft/ Bankers Cheque of Rs. 500.00 in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar before appearing the interview.
- In the event the walk-in-interview cannot be conducted on the date as mentioned above, the new date will be notified in the OUAT website in the afternoon of the previous working day of the scheduled date of interview. Any update will also be notified in the OUAT website. The desirous candidates are required to keep a track on the OUAT website for any updates.
