Paper Submission and Review:
Original research papers are invited in the conference areas. Submissions are reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers for originality, technical quality, relevance to the conference themes, and clarity of presentation. Authors should use the official conference template and follow the submission instructions provided on the conference website.
Publication:
Registered, peer-reviewed, presented, and selected papers, subject to recommendation by the Conference Committee, will be considered for publication as book chapters with an ISBN through UPM Press, Universiti Putra Malaysia, with proposed indexing in Scopus. Publication in Scopus-indexed proceedings will involve a separate publication charge in addition to the conference registration fee. A free conference proceedings volume will also be published without indexing. Journals and special issues are under consideration and will be announced after confirmation.

About the Department:
The Division of Mechanical Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, is committed to developing competent, innovative, and industry-ready mechanical engineers through a strong integration of academic excellence, practical learning, research, and technological innovation. The Division provides a comprehensive learning environment covering core areas of mechanical engineering, including design, manufacturing, thermal engineering, energy systems, automation, materials science, and emerging interdisciplinary technologies. Its academic programmes include B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, enabling students and research scholars to pursue education and advanced research aligned with contemporary industrial and societal needs.
The Division is supported by well-equipped laboratories that provide hands-on exposure to CAD/CAM, dynamics and vibrations, thermal engineering and heat transfer, additive manufacturing and 3D printing, nano heat transfer, mechatronics, renewable energy, robotics and automation, metallurgy, and industrial automotive applications. These facilities enable students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions and develop proficiency in modern engineering tools and technologies.
Research and innovation constitute major strengths of the Division, supported by dedicated centres such as the Centre for Research in Design and Manufacturing, Centre for Material Sciences and Thermal Management, Centre for Research in Metallurgy, Centre for Research in Renewable Energy, and Centre for Research in Mechatronics. The Division undertakes research addressing industrial and national challenges and has received substantial support from national funding agencies. Its research activities encompass manufacturing, materials, thermal sciences, renewable energy, mechatronics, and related emerging areas.
Through strong industry interaction, research-oriented education, internships, projects, technical activities, and exposure to emerging technologies, the Division prepares graduates for diverse careers in design, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, energy, thermal systems, research, and technical consultancy. With a vision of developing globally competent engineers who contribute through innovation, product development, entrepreneurship, and research, the Division continues to foster technological advancement and sustainable engineering solutions.
