ABOUT THE FDP
This is a basic-level Faculty Development Program designed to elaborately introduce the concept, architecture, and applications of Digital Twins Technology across multiple domains. Digital Twins are virtual representations of physical assets, processes, or systems that are continuously updated with real-time data to enable simulation, monitoring, and prediction. With Industry 4.0 and 5.0 driving digital transformation, understanding digital twins has become essential for faculty to modernize curriculum and research. This FDP will demystify the technology by covering fundamentals, enabling tools, and diverse domain applications so faculty from any Engineering or Science background can participate in the programme.
ABOUT UCE VILLUPURAM
University College of Engineering Villupuram, A Constituent College of Anna University, was established in the year 2008 and provides 7 different undergraduate courses providing B.E., and B.Tech. with the intake of 390. It is one among the 16 Constituent Colleges in Tamil Nadu under Anna University, Chennai and is a Co-educational College for Graduate and Post Graduate Students. The Institution is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and it is one among the outstanding Institutions in Villupuram District.
