Job Title:

Research Area of the Project and Title of the Project: Digital Forensics / Cyber Security / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning “Next Generation Data Carving and Preservation Techniques for Storage Drive Forensics”

Funded by: The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India.

Essential Qualification: 

  • Senior Research Fellow
    • [M.E./M.Tech./MCA] or [B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with qualified GATE/NET] in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Cyber Security/Computer Science/Computer Application or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks
      (55% for reserved categories) or equivalent or not less than 6.5 CGPA (5.5 for reserved categories) on 10-point scale. With minimum two years of experience in JRF position
    • Candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Full-Stack Software Development and Python will be given preference.
  • Junior Research Fellow
    • [M.E./M.Tech./MCA] or [B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with qualified GATE/NET] in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Cyber Security/Computer Science/Computer Application or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks
      (55% for reserved categories) or equivalent or not less than 6.5 CGPA (5.5 for reserved categories) on 10-point scale.
    • Candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Full-Stack Software Development and Python will be given preference.
  • Project Associate-I
    • B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Cyber Security/Digital Forensics/Artificial Intelligence/Computer Science/Computer Application or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved
      categories) or equivalent or not less than 6.5 CGPA (5.5 for reserved categories) on 10- point scale or M.E./M.Tech. in CSE/Cyber Security/Digital Forensics or MCA
    • Candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Full-Stack Software Development and Python will be given preference
  • Research Associate-I
    • [Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Application/Computer Science] or [having 3 years of research, teaching, and development experience after M.E./M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Application/Computer Science/Electrical Engg.] with at least one research paper published in Science Citation Index (SCI) or SCIE journal.
      Note: GATE/NET qualified candidates are preferable.
    • Candidates with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Article/Patent Writing and Python Programming will be given preference.

Duration: The position is initially up to 31st December 2026, with the possibility of extension till 31st March 2027 from the date of joining, subject to the candidate’s satisfactory performance.

Remuneration: :

  • Senior Research Fellow- Rs.42,000/-per month + HRA
  • Junior Research Fellow- Rs.37,000/-per month + HRA
  • Project Associate-I- Rs. 30,000/-per month + HRA
  • Research Associate-I- Rs. 61,000/- per month + HRA
