Essential Qualifications: Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline (Interior Design / Interior Architecture or allied disciplines) from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed. or
B. Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline (Interior Design / Interior Architecture or
allied disciplines) from a recognized University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent
grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) with five (05) years
relevant experience.

Desirable Qualification:

  • NET/Ph.D. in the relevant discipline, wherever applicable, in accordance with
    UGC norms
  • Proficiency in relevant design software/tools (CAD, etc.) for Interior Design
    programme
  • Relevant industry exposure
  • Knowledge of Urdu

Experience: Preferably 1-3 years of teaching and/or industry experience in the concerned discipline. Candidates with prior teaching experience in recognized institutions shall be given preference.

Age Limit: As per UGC Regulations for the appointment of Assistant Professors. Retired teachers from Colleges/Universities will also be considered, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years as on 01.01.2026

Salary Details: Salary not exceeding 50,000/- per month as per UGC norms.
