- For PGT posts, candidates need a Post Graduate degree from a recognized university in the respective subject with at least 50% marks along with a B.Ed. from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution, or a Post Graduate degree with at least 50% marks along with B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution. For medium specific subjects, the medium of study in SSC (10th standard) should be the same as the medium applied for; this condition is not applicable for language subjects such as Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi, and English.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is not exceeding 30 years, and it is relaxable as per orders and guidelines issued by the Central Government from time to time.
