General Instructions to the Applicant:

1. The duly filled application form should reach the Head, Department of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, Iroisemba, CAU, Imphal, on or before 10th August, 2026 (4:00 pm).
2. Age limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on the last date of submission of the application form.
3. The position is purely temporary and will be filled on a contractual basis till the termination of the project or as per need, whichever is earlier.
4. The Project Assistant will be engaged initially for six months, extendable based on performance as assessed by the Principal Investigator and continuation of the project.
5. Selected candidates shall have no right or claim for regular appointment or absorption at CoA, CAU, Imphal, at any point of time.
6. No TA/DA and official accommodation will be paid or provided for appearing in the interview.
7. All candidates should report for the walk-in-interview by 10:00 am, along with all relevant original documents, certificates, marksheets, and passport-size photographs, together with one set of photocopies of each document, on the day of the interview.
8. Already employed candidates should provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer.
9. The Dean, College of Agriculture, CAU, Imphal, has the right to cancel or postpone the interview without assigning any reason.
