  • Knowledge of PLCs, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Sensors, Actuators, Industrial Automation, and Electrical Control Systems for the Mechatronics department.
  • Knowledge of Robotics, PLC Programming, Embedded Systems, IoT, and Industrial Automation for the Robotics & Automation department.
  • Sound knowledge of Physics and Chemistry laboratory practices, instruments, and safety standards for the Basic Engineering department.
  • Good troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and calibration skills.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency for maintaining laboratory records.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare laboratories for practical sessions as per the academic timetable.
  • Assist faculty during laboratory classes, demonstrations, and practical examinations.
  • Guide students in the safe and proper use of laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Set up equipment, apparatus, chemicals, and training kits required for practical sessions.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure preventive maintenance for uninterrupted operation.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and coordinate repairs when required.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, consumables, tools, chemicals, and spare parts.
  • Maintain stock registers, issue registers, and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory materials.
  • Ensure laboratory safety, cleanliness, and compliance with institutional procedures.
  • Assist students in mini-projects, prototype development, and technical activities.
