• For Engineering posts, a B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent
• For Veterinary posts, a recognized basic veterinary qualification registered with the State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India, along with a relevant Master’s degree and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as applicable

Desirable: For the Plant Protection–Plant Pathology post, specialization in Nematology is desirable

Experience: No separate minimum teaching experience is prescribed for direct recruitment to Assistant Professor; however, teaching or post-doctoral experience carries weight in the academic score used for shortlisting
