Essential Qualifications: Candidates need a Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Candidates must also have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR, or an accredited equivalent such as SLET/SET, unless exempted by holding a Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016, or by holding a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU rankings. Additionally, both posts specifically require an M.D. (Ayurveda) in the respective specialization mentioned above. A 5% relaxation in marks is available for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled candidates.
Age Limit: Superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty, subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Salary Details: The Guest Faculty posts carry an honorarium of Rs. 1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month. Guest Faculty members will not be entitled to allowances, pension, gratuity, or leave benefits admissible to regular teachers of the University, and no claim of regularisation or contract extension will be entertained.
