Organizational Profile: The Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur is  recognized today as the premier institution of agricultural research and education in India. It  dates back to 1893 when a small school was started to impart training to revenue officers. It  rose step by step to the full-fledged Government Agriculture College (1906). The U.P.  Institute of Agricultural Sciences (1969) and finally to the C.S. Azad University of Agriculture  & Technology in 1975. The University was created with the merger of its two constituent  colleges, the erstwhile Government Agriculture College, Kanpur and U.P. College of  Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Mathura.

Employment Type: Temporary

Qualifications :

• Senior Research Fellowship: Master’s Degree in Fisheries Science. Knowledge of operation of field equipment with Understanding of best sustainable fisheries and Aquaculture practices, understanding of value chains and business development, industry experience, understanding of quality assurance and business management practices for import and export operations.
• Junior Research Fellowship: Master’s degree in Fisheries Science or equivalent field, with understanding of best practices and protocols for ensuring adherence to best sustainable fishery and aquaculture practices. Experience in working on gender issues desirable.
• Young Professional: Graduate in commerce, Finance or a related field with at least one-year experience in accounting and bookkeeping practices especially relevant for small and micro enterprises.
• Field Surveyor: Students of Post Graduate Program may be deputed as may be needed.

Pay Scale: 

• Senior Research Fellowship: 40,000/- Per Month
• Junior Research Fellowship: 30,000/- Per Month
• Young Professional: 25000/- per month

2. Project Name “DUS Centre for Indian Mustard, Karani Rai, Rapeseed, Gobhi Sarson” under Project Oilseed section. Kanpur (P.I.-Dr. Mahek Singh)

Job Title:

• Senior Research Fellowship

Qualification:

SRF: Four-year Agriculture Graduate, master’s degree in plant Breeding and Genetics / Seed Science and Technology.

Pay Scale: 42,000/- +20% HRA

3. Project Name: “AICRP-MSPE(Micronutrient)” under Project Soil Science and Agriculture Chemistry. Kanpur (P.I.-Dr. Sarvesh Kumar)

Job Title:

• SRF*
• Project Assistant*

Qualification:

• SRF: M.Sc. Chemistry/Organic Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry/ Soil Scie. & Agril. Chem.
• Project Assistant: B.Sc. Agriculture/B.Sc. (Chemistry)

Pay Scale: 

• SRF: 37000/- + HRA per month and II & III year Rs. 42,000/- + HRA per month.
• Project Assistant: 15000/- Per month

Tenure of the Appointment: Up to 11-month period from the date of appointment /joining. Further tenure may be extended as per terms & Conditions given in the advertisement No. 01/2026.
