The main objective of setting up of this specialized institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country.

Essential Qualification:
Lecturer (Plastics Engg. & Technology), Lecturer (Mechanical / Production Engg.), Lecturer (Computer Science)
- Full time Bachelor’s degree with first class or equivalent in Engineering / Technology in the relevant discipline.
If the candidate has a full time Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology, First class or equivalent is required at full time Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Lecturer (English & Mathematics)
- Full time first class Master’s degree in relevant discipline with first class or equivalent at full time Bachelor’s or Master’s level
Asst. Placement Consultant
- Full time graduate in any discipline with 2 year experience in relevant are.
OR
M.B.A. (HRM/PM) with one year experience in the relevant area
Remuneration range :
- Lecturer: Rs.30,000 /- to Rs.35,000 /- pm
- Asst. Placement Consultant: Rs 35,000/- p.m.(Consolidated Pay)
