Job Title:
- Adjunct Associate / Assistant Professors
- The Centre (CCSID) is seeking passionate researchers at the Associate/Assistant Professor Level to serve as adjunct Associate/Assistant Professors (2 numbers). This will provide an Opportunity to contribute multi-disciplinary research in sustainability and technological innovation, with a particular emphasis on clean energy systems and next-generation energy storage with transmission, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies, Smart, Clean & Green Campus, Sustainable Materials, Disaster Mitigation and Adaptation, Sustainable Transportation, Green Buildings, Frugal Revolution, Biodiversity and nature-based solutions. An adjunct Associate/Assistant Professor should possess adequate knowledge, work experience, and a proven commitment to research in the stated focus area(s) of the centre.
Qualification:
- Associate/Assistant Professor from any Department of IIEST, Shibpur
- Brilliant research record and recognition
- Success in securing competitive research funding will be an added advantage
- Expertise in the research focus of the centre as stated above
- Ability to spend reasonable time at the Centre for its activities and simultaneously discharge responsibilities at the parent department.
- Good communication, networking, and team-building skills are desirable
- The tenure will be initially for 3 years with an annual appraisal
- Either party (the Faculty or the Centre) may end the association with 60 days’ prior written notice.
Remuneration:
- Honorarium of Rs. 20000 per month (top-up)
