S.A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS) named after Smt. Sakunthala Ammal was established in the year 2019 under the auspices of Dharma Naidu Educational & Charitable Trust. The trust started functioning under the dynamic leadership and guidance of (Late) Thiru. D. Sudharssarrarn, MLA. The maiden step of the trust was in the year 1996–97 through the establishment of S. A. Polytechnic College. In its pursuit to propagate education and enhance literacy among youth the trust started the S. A. Engineering College in 1998–99. Sudharsanam Vidyaashram, a school following the CBSE stream of education was started by the trust in the year 2014. The trust functions with a mission to provide affordable education while nurturing the holistic development of all its students. Besides they also focus on honing the social responsibilities among their student community and emerge as responsible citizens of the country.
