About Organization : Krishna College of Agriculture and Technology (KRISAT), affiliated with Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), was established with a clear mission; to address the increasing global, national, and regional demand for agro-based food production by leveraging cutting-edge technologies. KRISAT aims to develop technically proficient farm graduates who can effectively implement these technologies in the sustainable production of food, feed, fibre, and fuel (biomass).
Inaugurated on August 5, 2016, KRISAT commenced operations in the academic year 2016-17, situated on a sprawling 56-hectare campus. The college is nestled in a scenic valley, surrounded by hills and adorned with diverse greenery, including herbs, trees, and climbers. The campus boasts rich biodiversity, serving as a habitat for various animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, insects, and honeybees, making it a vibrant and eco-friendly environment for learning and research.
