Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements for all the Departments/Schools excluding School of Innovation.

The minimum requirements for the position of Assistant Professor Grade I & II are as follows:

(a) Assistant Professor Grade II:

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
• The position of Assistant Professor Grade II will be on contract basis.
• Age: Maximum 32 years

(b) Assistant Professor Grade I:

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
• Experience: Minimum three years of industrial/ research/ teaching experience,
  excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
• Age: Maximum 35 years

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements for School of Innovation

The minimum requirements for the position of Assistant Professor, Grade I & II and Associate Professor are as follows:

(a) Assistant Professor Grade II:

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
• Desirable: In addition to this, an undergraduate and/or a postgraduate degree in Design/Architecture from a reputed Design University/Institute in India or abroad.
• The position of Assistant Professor Grade II will be on contract basis.
• Age: Maximum 32 years

(b) Assistant Professor Grade I:

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
• Desirable: In addition to this, an undergraduate and/or a postgraduate degree in Design/Architecture from a reputed Design University/Institute in India or abroad.
• Experience: Minimum three years of industrial/ research/ teaching experience,
  excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
• Age: Maximum 35 years

(c) Associate Professor:

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
• Desirable: In addition to this, an undergraduate and/or a postgraduate degree in Design/Architecture from a reputed Design University/Institute in India or abroad.
• Experience: Minimum six years teaching/ industry/research experience of which at least three years’ experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor Grade I, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
