NIELIT is engaged both in Formal & Non-Formal Education in the area of IECT besides development of industry oriented quality education and training programmes in the state-of-the-art areas. NIELIT has endeavoured to establish standards to be the country’s premier institution for Examination and Certification in the field of IECT. It is also one of the National Examination Body, which accredits institutes/organizations for conducting courses in IT in the non-formal sector.

- Essential: Regular M.E. / M.Tech in CSE / IT OR B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ Regular M.Sc (Computer Science) from recognized university / institute in Computer Science / Information Technology / NIELIT ‘B’ level
- Desirable: Knowledge in AI / ML / Drone Technology / IoT
- Faculty
- Essential: Regular B.Tech (IT/CSE/Electronics) / MCA/ Regular M.Sc (Computer Science) from recognized university / institute in Computer Science / Information Technology / NIELIT ‘B’ level
- Desirable: Knowledge in AI / ML / Drone Technology / IoT
- Academic & Teaching Assistant
- Essential: Regular B.E. / B.Tech / PGDCA / BCA / B.Sc in Computer Science or IT / NIELIT ‘A’ Level / Graduation with NIELIT ‘O’ Level / One Year DCA
- Desirable: Should have Knowledge of registration / examination of NSQF aligned courses etc.
