Job Title: Principal – Polytechnic College
Location: Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh

Job Summary:
The Principal will lead the overall administration, academic planning, and development of the Polytechnic College. This role involves ensuring academic excellence, maintaining discipline, managing faculty and staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as AICTE, SBTET and POLYCET ADMISSION Process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Leadership
- Oversee curriculum planning, timetable scheduling, and academic operations.
- Ensure quality teaching, learning, and student evaluation processes.
- Implement innovative teaching methodologies and skill-development programs.
- Monitor academic performance and take corrective measures when required.
2. Administrative Management
- Supervising day-to-day administrative activities of the institution.
- Maintain college records, statutory documents, and regulatory compliances.
- Coordinate with management, faculty, staff, students, and external agencies.
3. Staff Management
- Recruit qualified teaching and non-teaching staff as per norms.
- Conduct staff performance evaluations, training, and development programs.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and adherence to institutional policies.
4. Student Affairs
- Ensure student discipline and safety across campus.
- Address student grievances and create a positive learning environment.
- Promote extracurricular, technical, and placement-related activities.
5. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with AICTE, SBTET and POLYCET ADMISSION Process.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and proposals for inspections and approvals.
6. Infrastructure & Resource Planning
- Oversee maintenance of campus facilities, laboratories, equipment, and libraries.
- Plan upgrades in infrastructure and technological resources.
7. Financial & Operational Oversight
- Assist management in budgeting, financial planning, and fund utilization.
- Monitor fee collection, utilization of grants, and cost-effective operations.
8. Industry & Community Relations
- Build industry partnerships for internships, placements, and training.
- Represent the institution in academic forums, conferences, and public platforms.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s Degree with First Class (Ph.D. preferred) in Engineering/Technology.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in teaching/administration, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of AICTE norms and polytechnic academic standards.
- Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
