Job Title: Research Associate-I

Project Title: Modeling the Nature of Active Sites in Molten Metal Halide Catalyst For COx-free Production of H2 from Methane Pyrolysis

Employment Type: Temporary

Duration of Appointment:

  • One year, starting from January 1, 2026

Minimum Qualification: 

  • Phd in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Physics/Material Science/ with strong fundamentals in Catalysis
  • Prior experience with density functional theory calculations (preferably in VASP, CP2K)
  • Good programming knowledge in C/C++ (or fortran), Linux shell scripting
  • Familiarity with HPC environment

Job Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Consolidated Salary: Rs 58,000/- per month + 18% HRA (as per institute norms)
