Organization Profile: IIM Shillong has been set up with a vision of expansion and mobilization of facilities for offering good quality management education and research in the Northeastern region of India. The decision of coming up with an Indian Institute of Management in the North East was unanimously taken by the Union Minister of Human Resource Development along with the Chief Ministers of the North Eastern States in the Review Meeting held at Shillong during June 2004.

Qualification:

• Manager (Finance and Accounts): Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India/ Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India
• Manager (Accreditation) – on Contract: Master’s Degree with 60% marks from a recognized University or Equivalent
• Assistant Manager (IT Infrastructure): BE/B. Tech/ MCA with 55% marks from a recognized University or Equivalent

Scale of Pay:

• Manager (Finance and Accounts): Level – 10, Initial Basic Pay Rs. 56,100/-
• Manager (Accreditation): Level – 10, Initial Basic Pay Rs. 56,100/-
• Assistant Manager (IT Infrastructure): Level – 6, Initial Basic Pay Rs. 35,400/-
