Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Assistant Professor / Instructor – German to join our institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality German language instruction, fostering linguistic and intercultural competencies, and preparing students for international German language certifications. The candidate must demonstrate strong teaching abilities, curriculum planning skills, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons to enhance students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in the German language.
• Encourage students to learn and apply acquired skills through creative and communicative teaching methodologies.
• Train students for international German language exams such as A1 to C1/TestDAF.
• Incorporate intercultural elements into classroom teaching and learning activities.
• Participate in student clubs, workshops, and co-curricular events to promote language learning beyond the classroom.
• Ensure continuous improvement of teaching practices in line with institutional expectations and academic standards.
• Collaborate with faculty members for curriculum enhancement and student development initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Master’s degree in German Language (or closely related discipline) with C2 certification.
• Prior teaching experience in German language instruction is desirable.
• Excellent command and fluency in German.
• Ability to adopt modern and interactive teaching methodologies.
