Job Title: Research Associate

Project Details : The Laboratory of Soft and Living Materials at IIT Gandhinagar invites applications for a Research Associate (RA) position to work on a project focused on Enzyme-Driven Active Matter for Controlled Intracellular Transport and Delivery. This position is available immediately, offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated researcher to join a dynamic and interdisciplinary team.

Essential Qualifications:

• Candidates must hold a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field; candidates who have submitted their doctoral thesis are also eligible to apply. A strong publication record in relevant research areas is required. The ideal candidate should have experience in cell biology, biochemistry, both in vivo and ex vivo protein and enzyme studies, along with proficiency in various microscopic and spectroscopic characterization techniques. Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, are essential. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self- motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail.

Duration: This appointment is initially for six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funding.

Salary: The consolidated monthly salary is Rs. 54,200.
